Love this image. Your idea is great, and the background work is really a valuable skill to perfect. (I need to work on that a lot myself). Good luck with your book project. I think it's a great idea :)
I really hope I can manage to find a cheaper way to make it, so I can sell it at a reasonable price, because $15 for a no name artists book, will only go so far.
Hopefully soon I can offer some prints for sale too!
I like backgrounds too, they really add to the piece, it's just a matter of drawing them. Figuring out how much, or little I can get away with drawing.
